Our Leads

Kaimahi

The Oranga Ki Tua service is led by Camilla Rawinia Tuivaiti (Ngāti Rangiwewehi, Ngāti Whakaue – Te Arawa, Te Kāhui o Taranaki) and Joanna Makiha (Ngāti Tarāwhai, Ngāti Whakaue – Te Arawa), a dedicated clinical duo committed to supporting whānau Māori in Tāmaki Makaurau.

Camilla brings strong leadership and nursing expertise as Clinical Lead, while Joanna offers compassionate, whānau-centred care as a registered nurse.

Together, they provide grounded, personalised support for individuals and their whānau living with or at risk of long-term conditions, creating a safe space for healing, connection, and self-determined wellbeing.

Mana Kidz

Kia ora,

Ko Rebecca Nalder tōku ingoa.

I am a Team Leader and Registered Nurse working in the Mana Kidz Programme in primary schools in South Auckland, with a focus on Rheumatic Fever Prevention.

The Mana Kidz programme strives to improve the lives of children by providing them and their Whānau with easy access to health care.

I am also a Community Nurse Prescriber which means I can prescribe medication that Whānau would otherwise have to see a GP for.

I am passionate about equity in health care and working within vulnerable communities in an attempt to better their health outcomes.

I am married to Mark, have 3 teenagers and a dog, and I love running, reading and holidays!!
